Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be a campfire?

Of course! There will be a campfire on both the Friday and Saturday evening and everyone will be welcome to join round the fire - the campfire will be a family-friendly campfire. We're looking forward to everyone sharing their favourite songs and stories and making new friends at one of the most important parts of any camp.

What will the noise situation be?

Reunion is a family event and is based at a campsite in a residential area, and as such, there will be an outside curfew on activities at 22:30, when people can either choose to go to to the indoor social spaces, off-site evening activities or head to their camping areas.

There are multiple different camping areas to cater for main camping, families and a quiet camping area, which you can select from as part of the booking process.

How is Reunion different to a Rally?

SSAGO reunion is much more than a Rally (although taking on the best bits!), with activities and events taking place throughout the whole weekend. Sunday will be as action packed as Saturday so making the most of the weekend and there won't be a dull moment, there will be lots to choose from at every hour! It will have a mini-Jamboree atmosphere with events and activities running throughout the whole weekend with various activity streams running throughout that you can drop into and out of - the off-site attractions listed are part of that, but there'll be plenty more going on.

Reunion is Jam-packed full of activities through out the weekend. The site itself will be alive with activity throughout the entire event, with all kinds of activities, games, challenges and entertainment, both during the day and in the evening, far more than what you'd have on a Rally. Whether you want to drop in and challenge friends to climbing or archery, make some crafts to take home or share, take part in the SSAGO sports day, make some new animal friends or try your skills on the inflatables, the site itself will be alive! There'll always be something to do!

In the evening, whether you like a good disco or ceilidh, time spent making new friends in the board game cafe, relaxing at the bar or taking part in game shows or the quiz night or heading into London for night activities, there'll be something for everyone.

There's a lot more to come that we'll be announcing closer to the event, but trust us - we're making the 50th something truly special, and to do that, it's going to cost a little more, but it'll be worth it! We worked hard to keep the cost low but make this event special, and I hope you'll see with what's included that this event will be worth it and a great way to celebrate 50 years!

I've got an idea for something I'd love to see at Reunion. What should I do?

We'd love to hear from you! As part of the booking, you can give any suggestions for things you'd like to see at Reunion - this is your event! Alternatively, drop us an email at or contact us!

I'm interested in helping at Reunion, are there staffing places available?

To make this event a success, we're going to need a lot of help and we'd greatly appreciate any help you can volunteer. As part of the booking process, there's a chance to specify what staff roles you'd be interested in, and we'll be in touch to bring you on board as part of the staff team.

Are there any benefits for staff?

As a small thank you to our staff members, every staff member will receive an exclusive staff badge, special staff merchandise, and a warm fuzzy feeling from helping out!

What parking will there be for those who are arriving by car?

We know most people will be coming by car, and we'll be making sure to make it as painless and easy as possible. While there won't be any parking on the site itself, there's a number of parking options which are being considered - we're waiting to get a rough idea from numbers and transport options and we'll be confirming closer to the event.

Just make sure when you are booking on the transport page that you specify car as your method of transport.

Will there be anything available for children?

Reunion is a family event and children will be playing an important part at Reunion. There will be various activities and both child-friendly and family-friendly programme throughout the weekend. More details will be confirmed closer to the event.
